Aishwarya Biswas, the founder of fast-growing wellness and beauty brand AULI is creating new waves by
becoming the only woman entrepreneur from Kolkata to appear on the first ever season of Shark Tank India
and also successfully winning funding for her company.
A well-known face in the beauty and
wellness
industry, Aishwarya was the winner of the Lakme Sananda Tilottama in 2001. A true beauty with brains,
she then went on to complete her graduation from NYU, with no less than a double major. She capped off
her academic achievements with a post-grad MBA from one of the most premier, globally-ranked business
schools S.P. Jain Global while simultaneously earning a diploma from the London School of Economics.
Aishwarya is also a trained image consultant from the iconic Fashion Institute of Technology,
New York and has left a significant global footprint, having lived in 5 countries and having worked
at senior management levels for over a decade for top corporates such as Reliance and Godrej,
before starting AULI. She brings her formidable corporate and world experience to her unique line
of wellness products and as a popular lifestyle and social media influencer, keeps AULI relevant,
accessible, informative and interactive while providing customised, effective and affordable solutions
.
Aishwarya has travelled to the SelectUSA Summit in Washington DC and has been a part of an
all-women entrepreneur delegation to the United States in 2018 with the Indo American Chamber of
Commerce. She has been the speaker at many Start-up and Entrepreneurship Summits by large bodies
like CII, ICC, BCCI & Entrepreneur India and has been widely written about in India Today,
The Telegraph and Entrepreneur magazine and in various other publications and online spaces.
She has also recently been inducted as a member of the Rotary Club of Kolkata for her philanthropy.
Being not just an entrepreneur, but a woman entrepreneur is a mantle that Aishwarya undertakes
with not just pride, but great responsibility. Hence AULI continues to be a business not just
founded and led by a woman, but also one whose total employee strength consists of 80% female
employees. Since inception, AULI has also focussed quite dedicatedly on women empowerment by
creating economic and work opportunities for women to be financially independent. Alongside,
Aishwarya has and continues to personally mentor several women through her various social
networks and tie-ups.
